This mount has been a great blend of strength and weight. The design is versatile for various positioning, holding strong in each, even holding large rides. The knurled shaft and toothed adjusters work great, allowing pretty fine adjustments, but gripping solid to reduce vibrations and twisting. I would have loved to see some notching or knurling on the main stand bracket, but it seems to hold fine so far.
