SP Bel-Art Maxi Plastic Tubing Clamps 6-Pack for ¾" O.D. Tubes - Lab & Medical Use

i love these things they work so well , easy to use . i have tried other things to clamp the 1/4 " tubing but it just did not as well tubing clamps, they last a very long time ,somewhat easy to hid under your clothing. like i said i love these things. thanksI was initially shocked by how big they were. Lucked out because they were able to slip over the Katadyn Quickfill connects I was using for my tubing, and held well. Was able to add a carabiner to keep the end of my clean water tubing from hanging down.It did require a fair bit of force to clamp down the 1/4" ID tubing I was using, but you get used to it.These are great. I saw that someone asked a question about whether or not these are re-usable...one answer says they are not...that is an incorrect answer. These are super cheap, holding up well & can definitely be used over & over again. Maybe there is some medical use that would require a fresh clamp each time but I am using these on silicone tubing & they open/close/open etc. just fine. I have 2 in use right now & I'm opened & closed them numerous times...no sign of breaking/cracking or weakness. I'm using them on a 5/16 OD flexible tube for an ozone machine. Very happy with this purchase.A little different than the original but works perfect. Been using it for a while no problems.Work great but much larger than expected. I purchased the mid-range size for a feeding tube. The clamps do the job well. Next time I will buy the smallest size.Needed to clamp off some tubing for a oxygen condenser, works great.Although it's slightly larger than I needed, it works great for 1/2" silicone tubes. I would prefer to buy these in a pack of 2 since I didn't need so many.I used these clamps for a peg tube. They actually have a longer usage than the clamp that came with the peg tube.These clips are expensive for fairly small plastic clips so I wrongly assumed they were robust and well made. I was clearly wrong as the first clip that I used broke after I'd been using it on and off for an hour or so. It first started springing open after I'd closed it and then I realised that one of the two thin parts at the 'hinge' end where the pipe feeds through had snapped! I'll see how long the next one lasts. Never had trouble with clips of this design before, so will try to avoid these ones from belart.com / SP Industries USA.Second one broke at the other side after 5 uses - returning for refund...does exactly what was req'd. i needed to block air flow through 1 of 3 small tubes of a neck support brace. it was easy to attach; stays in place; effectively blocks the air; easy to remove.I accidently bought the wrong size but they would have worked for my daughters feeding tube if I had bought the correct size!Used it as an on/off switch on some latex tubing. Great quality clamps. Easy to use one handed.Great!
