Type-2 2.5" 8pc FMIC Intercooler Kit with Pipes & Hoses - Turbo Upgrade for Cars

Bought this for a custom build. First time doing intercooler piping and this kit made it a breeze! This kit comes with everything you need aside from a hacksaw and some elbow grease. Came with clamps and nice silicone hoses. If you wanted to upgrade the clamps I went to my local hardware store and traded out the tbolt nuts for some nylock ones that wont back loose. Inside of some of the pipes were pretty dirty but its hard to complain when other similar kits cost twice as much or don't include clamps/hose. Just used some scotch-brite! Would definitely recommend for a beginner and would buy again for a future project.Good service good quality order was delivered on timeThe pipes are thick enough (I got the 2.5" type 2) and the silicone couplers came in blue not red. However, this helped me out because all my other parts are chrome/blue and it looks better - I only bought it in what I thought was red because it looked like the easiest kit . Just keep in mind the color you may get is random. However, the silicone couplers are NOT reinforced so I had to put reinforcement tubing in them to play it safe as I use 14 lbs of boost on a big turbo. You should be fine as long as you put extra strength into the 90 degree bend silicone couplers. Clamps work well enough and will hold just fine. They're the kind of band clamps you can use with a flat head screw driver.Shipping was really fast as well. Arrived at 9 am on the 5th day.Would be 5 stars but no one can measure piping. Piping is measured by ID. The id is 2" 1/16. Buy your own clamps. China clamps are useless. The OD on piping has a diff measurement system. If your selling stuff you should know what your talking aboutSimilar kits are available on other major sites for similar prices. This kit failed to deliver the same quality for 2 major reasons. 1) The clamps are cheaply made, and have no lock nuts. 2) Several of the bends had what appears to be sand in them. What I believe happened is that these bends were mandrel bent using sand to maintain the shape, and the manufacturer did not remove all of the sand. The consequence is SAND in the INTAKE tubes, which also made its way into some of the anodizing. So there are chunks of anodized sand on the inside of the tubes. I was able to knock them out with a file but you'll never know if you got them all.It works so far has held 12 pounds of boost we shall seeNot installed yet but for the price this is a nice kitevery good quality just wish they manufactured cleaned out the inside of the pipes. i got some steel wool and ran it through to clean all the crap out
