This water sender hose attachment is designed for compatibility with a radiator hose whose inside diameter is 48mm or 1-7/8”. It also simplifies the installation process by allowing you to easily install your temperature sensor without the need of making any major modifications to your vehicle. Each hose attachment is crafted from aluminum and features a 1/8-27 NPT fitting for your compatible sender. With a few easy steps your sensor will be installed and you’ll be able to take effective water temperature readings. When you purchase Glowshift's 48mm (1-7/8") Water Sender Adapter, you’ll also receive (2) hose clamps which secure the line to the water temp sensor hose attachment. Cut the Coolant Line After making sure that the engine is cool, locate a relatively straight section of the coolant hose and make a clean cut through the line. Install the Adapter Install the clamps over the two cut ends of the hose and place the water temperature sensor adapter in between, securing it tightly into place with the clamps.
